Who we are

SimpleTab is a field service management tool for Canadian trades businesses. We are based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. You can reach us at hello@getsimpletab.com.

What information we collect

Tradesperson information: When a tradesperson uses SimpleTab to send a quote, we collect their name and phone number to identify the sender and enable follow-up.

Customer information:We collect the name and phone number of the end customer solely to deliver the quote by SMS on the tradesperson's behalf. We do not use this information for any other purpose.

Quote content: We store quote details (job description, line items, totals) to provide a record of transactions.

Website visitors: We may collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and troubleshooting purposes.

How we use SMS

SimpleTab sends SMS messages to end customers on behalf of tradespeople. Messages contain quote or invoice details initiated by the tradesperson. We do not send unsolicited marketing messages to end customers. Message and data rates may apply.

End customers who receive an SMS through SimpleTab may reply STOP to opt out of future messages from that tradesperson via our platform.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers necessary to operate SimpleTab:

All service providers are contractually required to protect your information and may not use it for their own purposes.

Data retention

Quote and customer data is retained for as long as the tradesperson account is active, or for a maximum of 3 years from the date of creation, whichever is shorter. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Your rights (PIPEDA)

Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. Contact us at hello@getsimpletab.com to exercise these rights.
